Biography
Faz loved music growing up, but didn't have the support at home for instruments or formal training. Taking matters into his own hands, he transformed his body into an instrument, creating complex rhythms and sound effects using only his voice. Beat-boxing, rapping, and singing to anyone who would listen, he quickly became known for his playground performances.
From there, he joined a vocal jazz group, expanding his reach across North America and collecting awards for his performances and workshops. He went on to become the first beat-boxer accepted into Berklee College of Music’s world renowned program. There, he trained in multiple instruments and developed his skills in composition, production, and education. Now living in Toronto, Faz shares his love of music through performing, writing, and teaching.
